News reported Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;People want drugs,&quot; Sinclair told the assembled crowd of as many as 2,000 students. &quot;They want to get high &#8230; Because it&#8217;s all good.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Sinclair gained notoriety at the university for a 1971 &quot;Free John Sinclair&quot; rally held on campus following a marijuana conviction by the poet.  He was immortalized in the John Lennon song, &quot;John Sinclair&quot;.
