I started off with these seeds as I was a beginner and was advised through this site as well as other places that NL was indeed the most hardy strain to grow, and was easy to clone, even for someone with my limited growing experience.

Smooth smoke, very enjoyable and tasty. Very pleasant body high. Tastes as sweet as it smells. Be careful smoking this as it has somewhat of a creeping stone, and if you smoke too much you might end up feelin a little bit too stoned. Great plant, easy to grow, very enjoyable.

I have grown Northern Lights through the years and found it to be a very "User Friendly" plant. Great taste and potency with NL and ease of growing are A+. This line is very stable genetically. I grew Sensi Seeds version of Northern Lights and was pleased with the results. It is a very tolerent strain when it comes to plant abuse, it can handle more nutes than many other strains. The odor and flavor both lack which gets made up for by potency.

This was my first NL grow and, since I don't have the green thumb, I'm glad for the ease of this plant. No problems at all with pests, just a little nitrogen deficiency. I grew indoor during seedling and flowering state, outdoor during vegging.
The odour is very low but this doesn't affect the potency! Smells good and tastes good too when smoked. The high is mostly a couchlock but sometimes I have a nice, pleasant trip all in the head. Btw, no paranoia. A very pleasant and relaxing high.
Since it was my first grow, I started with only one plant, which was a female. Germinated in a paper towel, sprout in 48 hrs.
During flowering state I put the plant under 10/14 (10 hrs light 14 darkness) instead of 12/12 because I had to finish early. So I didn't have a big yield, but the taste is good and potency runs well too.
Garden Information for this report My grow space was a clay pot, 20cm tall and 20 cm diameter. Soil: universal garden soil. Watering: every 2-3 days. Check when the soil is dry! Fert: once a week, NPK 7-3-6 |
